 | Tenjin Matsuri (天神祭) The Spectacular Tenjin Matsuri is the most poplar summer event in Osaka and one of the three biggest festivals in Japan, held on 24th/ 25th July. 5000 of fireworks as dedication is the highlight of the festival. About 3000 people in gorgeous traditional festival costume take to the street, which is called “Rikutogya”, and at tenjin bridge, the participants board some 100 boats, which is called “Hunatogya”, are also great view. 24th July/ Yoimiya(pre-festival) 25th July/ Honmiya Boat performance (Hunatogya) / Fireworks 7:00pm-9:00pm |
